No you do not need an EPP key to transfer a co.uk domain name.
Co.uk domain names are "pushed" from one registrar to another. Depending on your current registrar, you might be able to update the IPS tag via their control panel or simply ask their customer service team to do it for you.
Blacknight's IPS tag is BLACKNIGHT-IE. Once you have updated your .uk domain to use Blacknight's IPS tag please place a transfer order to complete the transfer.
