This is only relevant to users of our Hosted Exchange product. This is not an issue with standard POP3\IMAP email accounts like those on our shared hosting plans or VPS plans.
Outlook 2003 and 2007 do not support the option to remember passwords for Hosted Exchange type mailboxes. Each time you open Outlook you will be asked for your Hosted Exchange mailbox password. If you keep Outlook running on your computer until you shut the computer down then you will only ever be asked for the password when you start up Outlook after starting your computer.
Outlook 2010 has this feature so it should remember your password.
If you have an account with 5 or more users, and have an existing Active Directory controlled network, then we can link your local Active Directory accounts into our Hosted Exchange Active Directory and so this issue is not seen. This also has the benefit of you being able to add your users in your office first and then being able to assign a mailbox to them in our control panel.
