Website down due to Maximum Vhost Limit Reached / Resource Limit Reached error

Note: this only applies on our cp.blacknight.com Linux hosting plans and you will only see this error in your error logs.

The Vhost limit is the maximum number of active connections\visitors on your website at any one moment, i.e. the number of visitors actually downloading content, images, videos etc. from your site at any one moment. The limit on our shared hosting platforms are below:

Minimus: 50

Medius: 100

Maximus: 150

Depending on your website design a single user could open multiple connections in order to download images, scripts, etc. on a single web page.
