There are some notes to be aware of when adding an additional domain to your hosting package.
If the new domain is in our nameservers and the domain has been added to your hosting package yet is not showing up then perhaps the domain is not pointing to your hosting package in our nameservers.
Direct Admin \ Helm
If you are transferring or registering a new domain with us that you wish to host on an existing hosting package the new domain will most likely be in our new control panel. Please log in to the new control panel and under the following you will need to update the domain to point to your current hosting package:
Domain Overview > Domain Administrator > domainname.tld > DNS > Change DNS
You need to update the two existing A Records to point to the IP address of your existing hosting package.
You may also want to add an A record for mail.domain.tld pointing to your mailserver and then adding an MX record pointing the domain's mail exchanger to mail.domain.tld.
Please contact our Support team for more information on this and if you do not know the IP addresses you need to point the A records and email to.
If the domain is registered elsewhere and is not in our nameservers then the nameservers the domain is in will have to be updated to point to your hosting package. You can use our DNS Diagnostic tool at www.blacknight.ie/DNS to find out where your current hosting package is hosted.
