This article can relate to any dedicated, co-located, or virtual server that you install Plesk on, though is primarily for our Cloud VM plans.
If you install the Plesk control panel on your VM then we recommend the following ports be opened through your firewall on the VM itself (or any firewall sitting in front of your server):
Linux
TCP: 21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,3306,8443,8447,8880,11443,11444
UDP: 53
Windows
TCP: 21,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,3306,3389,8443,8447,8880,11443,11444
UDP: 53
If you have a dedicated or co-located server with us, behind our firewalls, then to request firewall changes you need to fill in the following form and email it to Security@blacknight.com to get any firewall rules changed, though please note that some of the above ports might be open by default (especially if you asked us to install Plesk on the server for you).

If you have a VM with us then you can see how to change the firewall rules in the following knowledgebase article, though if you picked a Plesk template to install on the VM when you purchased it these will most likely be open by default (that is not currently available):
