Cloudflare
In order to route your web traffic through the Cloudflare network you need to change your original nameservers to the Cloudflare nameservers.
The steps required to update your nameservers are:
- Log in to Cloudflare and make note of your nameservers.
- Not sure where to find your nameservers values?
You can find the Cloudflare name servers for your domain in your Cloudflare dashboard under Overview.
Blacknight
In order to change the nameserver records in cp.blacknight.com please refer to the following -
>> Login to cp.blacknight.com
>> Account
>> Registered Domains
>> Click on the domain name (NOT manage DNS)
>> Manage Nameservers
You will need to clear what is currently there and input the new data
Then press 'Update'.
Note : Nameserver propagation can take up to 24 hours. This does not transfer any current DNS records you may be using. So ensure you replicate DNS records on your new DNS host if needed.
Please note: This is *NOT* done under: Hosted Domains, Websites, or Manage DNS. In the above you can only set the domain to use "External Nameservers" to remove the domain from our nameservers. You can not specify what nameservers you want the domain to use here.
