NOTE: Joomla 1.7 is out of date and no longer supported by the joomla vendors and as such can be quite vulnerable to compromise. We would strongly recommend you upgrade your install as soon as possible.
This article applies if you have Joomla 1.7 running on your site, and bluestork is set as default admin template. Due to security issues we have disabled this template on our shared network, and if you are unable to login to your admin section i.e. domain.com/administrator and getting a white screen then you need to follow the steps below:
Go to PHP MyAdmin section of your database, then change the admin template style in the database under "_template_styles" table. You can then click "Browse". It will show a list of templates installed. Rows with client_id = 1 are you admin template styles and client_id = 0 are your regular site templates. Change the value of the home column from 1 to 0 for the current template, and 0 to 1 for the template you'd like to set to the new default.
PHP MyAdmin can be accessed via:
Webhosting >> Databases >> Database name >> Browse database manager.
