Adding Squarespace DNS Records on cp.blacknighthosting.com

The following covers how to set up DNS records for Squarespace on our newer cp.blacknighthosting.com panel. If you need to do this on the older cp.blacknight.com please see here:

Adding Squarespace DNS Records on cp.blacknight.com

PLEASE NOTE: The IP addresses listed here are correct at the time of writing and may change without notice.
Please check with Squarespace for the correct IP Addresses.

1) Log into cp.blacknighthosting.com
2) Click on Domains on the left of the screen and choose Manage DNS Records
3) Find your domain and click the pencil icon to the right.
4) If there are CNAME or A records already listed, you may need to remove them first.

5) Click Add Record

Choose CNAME from the dropdown menu
in the Name field input: www
In the Cname field input: ext-cust.squarespace.com
Click Confirm.

Click Add Record
Choose CNAME from the dropdown menu
in the Name field input: Copy and paste the unique code here:

In the Cname field input: verify.squarespace.com
Click Confirm.

Click Add Record
Choose A from the dropdown menu
In the Name field, type @
in the Address field input: 198.185.159.144
Click Confirm.

Click Add Record
Choose A from the dropdown menu
In the Name field, type @
in the Address field input: 198.185.159.145
Click Confirm.

Click Add Record
Choose A from the dropdown menu
In the Name field, type @
in the Address field input: 198.49.23.144
Click Confirm.

Click Add Record
Choose A from the dropdown menu
In the Name field, type @
in the Address field input: 198.49.23.145
Click Confirm.
