Adding Webador DNS Records

The following covers how to set up DNS records for Webador on our newer cp.blacknighthosting.com panel. If you need to do this on the older cp.blacknight.com, please scroll down:

PLEASE NOTE: The IP addresses listed here are correct at the time of writing and may change without notice.
Please check with Webador for the correct IP Addresses

New Blacknight Control Panel - https://cp.blacknighthosting.com

1. Log into cp.blacknighthosting.com
2. Click on Domains on the left of the screen and choose Manage DNS
3. Find your domain and click the pencil icon to the right.
4. If there are CNAME or A records already listed, you may need to remove them first. 
   • If you are not sure if something should be removed, please contact us https://www.blacknight.com/contact-us.html
5. Click Add Record
   
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Name field, type @
   In the Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Confirm.
   
   Click Add Record
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Name field, type www
   In the Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Confirm.
   
   Click Add Record
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Name field, type *
   In the Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Confirm.

When you have that completed, wait approx 1–3 hours for the DNS Records to propagate and then go back to Webador.

1. In the Editor, click on the Webador logo in the top left corner.
2. Click on My subscription.
3. In the Domains box, click on the blue + Register domain or + Extra domain button.
4. Enter the domain name and click on the blue link via DNS link.
5. You will then be asked if you'd like to enter a transfer code. Click on I want to link the domain name via DNS.
6. You will now see an overview of the required DNS settings. If these settings are correct, click on the green Check link button. Your website should be active immediately!

After following these steps, your domain name will be linked to your website.

On the older Blacknight Control Panel - https://cp.blacknight.com

1. Log into cp.blacknight.com
2. Click on Home at the top of the screen
3. Click on Hosted Domains
4. Click on the domain in question
5. Click on the Web tab at the top. (If you do not have a Web tab, skip to Step 7)
6. Click on Remove Hosting and then click OK
7. Click on the DNS tab
8. Click on DNS Records
9. Click Add New DNS Record
   
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Domain field leave it empty and in the IP Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Finish
   
   Click Add New DNS Record
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Domain type www and in the IP Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Finish
   
   Click Add New DNS Record
   Choose A from the dropdown menu
   In the Domain type * and in the IP Address field input: 35.204.150.5
   Click Finish
