What charges me extra on my Cloud VM?

Some things you might change or use on your Cloud VM do cost extra, and I'm afraid the control panel will not warn you about this when you enable something that costs extra.  You will see the "Price Per Hour" field in your Cloud Control Panel go up if you have enabled anything that costs more than the basic plan price.

Though just to note the price per hour is not correct and you will not be charged the amount it says. You can see more on that here:

Things that may cost extra are:
Windows Template
Windows Web Edition has an extra licence fee of €12.99 a month
Windows Standard Edition has an extra licence fee of €39.99

CloudLinux Templates:
CloudLinux is the only non-free linux os we offer and has a licence fee of €8.99

Plesk Template
Plesk is a web hosting control panel interface that is available on some templates.  Only if you choose a Plesk template when purchasing your VM will you automatically be charged for a Plesk licence, if you manually change to a template with Plesk then you will manually have to purchase the licence you want:

IP Addresses
Only one IP address comes with the VM for free.  Any other IP addresses cost €2 a month extra.

Bandwidth
If you go over the bandwidth limit for you VM plan then you may be charged extra.  This is not available at the moment.


NOTE: If you change to a chargeable template for over an hour and then change back you will be charged for the full month as the licences are per month.  If you change back to that same chargeable template in the same month then you won't be charged twice, the licence from the first time you changed will still apply.
