If this is for a dedicated\colo server, server that isn't with us, or a VPS without Plesk then please follow whatever instructions you have for the Operating System or control panel you have running on your server.
===========
These instructions only apply to our new Minimus, Medius, and Maximus shared hosting plans where your control panel is through http://cp.blacknight.com
If you have any questions regarding the pricing of our dedicated\exclusive IP addresses and SSL certs please contact Sales@blacknight.com
If you are just renewing an SSL cert then you can skip step 1 and there is no need to contact our sales team and fill in the order form again - you can just email the CSR and key to Support@blacknight.com.
1. Buy dedicated IP address and set the domain to use it:
https://help.blacknight.com/entries/22934677-getting-a-dedicated-exclusive-ip-address
2. Generate the CSR (Certificate Signing Request):
https://help.blacknight.com/entries/22934793-how-to-generate-a-csr
3. Download the certificate and private key (given at the end of the previous step) and email them to us along with a request for an SSL certificate into Sales@blacknight.com
4. Install the SSL cert:
https://help.blacknight.com/entries/22918371-how-to-install-an-ssl-cert
5. Your SSL cert should now be ready to go and secure content should go into the httpsdocs folder. If you want us to link the httpdocs and httpsdocs folder so that the same website files are used for http://yourdomain and https://yourdomain then just let us know.
NB: If you are not order the SSL cert through us then all of these steps need to be followed regardless, only instead of emailing the CSR to us, or paying us for the SSL cert itself, you email it to whomever you are ordering the SSL cert through.
