This article relates to Acronis Cyber Protect available for use on Workstations, Servers, VPS, etc.
If you wish to get an email notification if your backup has failed, enable a daily digest of the protection summary of your plan, and other options then you can do so as follows:
- Log in to https://cp.blacknighthosting.com
- Go to Services > My Services > click on your Acronis service > Edit Notifications
- Enable the notifications you want to receive
Sometimes a backup might be stuck running and so no new backups complete. To cover this you can also set your protection plan to notify you if there's no success backup for a number of days. That is done in Acronis under:
- Log in to https://cloud.acronis.com
- Go to Management > Protection Plans > click on your protection plan (if you haven't created one yet please see here )
- Click on the edit icon beside your plan > Expand the Backup section > press Change beside Backup Options
- Under Alerts toggle the "No successful backups for a specified number of consecutive days" option and set the number of days you want
Notifications are sent to the main contact email address on the cp.blacknighthosting.com account in question (the address is shown above where you edit the Notification). If you want to set up more reports, or have them go to different addresses, then please use the Reports section in the Acronis interface itself (https://cloud.acronis.com/)
The following can help further with reports in the Acronis web interface:
