We don't recommend deleting backups as a regular means to reduce storage space used. You should change your protection plan settings instead to keep backups for a shorter time if you don't want to use up as much space.
Incremental backups generally do not take up a lot of space so deleting them typically won't free up much space.
You can remove older backups through the Acronis web interface under:
Backup Storage > click on the server in question > click on the date you want to delete > Delete
It can take up to 12-24 hours for backups to delete fully and for Acronis to refresh the disk usage.
If you have immutable storage turned on anything you delete will take 14 days to delete fully. You can change this setting under:
Settings > System Settings > immutable storage
For security reasons we recommend leaving this option on, and only disabling temporarily if needed
