We don't recommend deleting backups as a regular means to reduce storage space used. You should change your protection plan settings instead to keep backups for a shorter time if you don't want to use up as much space.
Incremental backups generally do not take up a lot of space so deleting them typically won't free up much space.
You can remove older backups through the Acronis web interface under:
Backup Storage > click on the server in question > click on the date you want to delete > Delete
It will take up to 14 days for manually deleted backups to delete fully (see Immutable Storage below)
Due to immutable storage anything you delete will take 14 days to delete fully (or longer depending on your settings). You can change this setting under:
Settings > System Settings > immutable storage
It is no longer possible to temporarily disable immutable storage. It is always on. This is for security reasons - to prevent bad actors from deleting all your backups.
