This guide will assist you in adding a Titan email account to Thunderbird
Prerequisites To Allow Third Party Access For Standard Email Clients/Software
- Two Factor Authentication must be disabled on the Titan Mailbox
- That is, if you are not using the Titan Apps and want to use Thunderbird etc..

- Third Party access needs to be enabled on the Titan Mailbox
- For new mailboxes especially, this typically would not be enabled by default.

You will need your password to setup the account; see the following if you need to reset it:
How do I change my titan email password?
It is important that you use the following hostnames only for Titan email via ourselves:
pop0101.titan.email imap0101.titan.email smtp0101.titan.email
Hostnames that do not have "0101" in them will not work.

- Open Thunderbird.
- If this is the first account that you are adding to it, it will automatically prompt you to set up an email account.
- If you are adding a new account alongside your existing email accounts
- Click the ☰ icon on the top-right → Click New Account and then Email
- Your full name: - This is what people will see when they receive an email from you

Email Address: - Your full email address (eg:
john@example.com) - Password: And the password associated.
- Click Configure Manually, more options will appear.

Incoming Server:
- Protocol: Choose IMAP (or POP) - We recommend IMAP

Hostname:
imap0101.titan.email(If using POP, enterpop0101.titan.email) -
Port:
993(If using POP, enter995) -
Connection Security:
SSL/TLS - Authentication method: Normal password

Username: your email address (eg:
john@example.com)

Connection Security:
SSL/TLS - Authentication method: Normal password

- Click Re-test, and double-check the settings.
- Click Done

Incoming Server:
- If you see "Account Successfully Created", then you are ready to go!
