How do I change my titan email password?
Older Versions of Outlook or other email clients:
It is important that you use the following hostnames only for Titan email via ourselves:
pop0101.titan.email
imap0101.titan.email
smtp0101.titan.email
Hostnames that do not have "0101" in them will not work.
If you need to see how to set up Titan email on older versions of Outlook, or other email clients, please see here:

Settings up Titan email accounts on New Outlook
Important Note
The new version of Outlook sync's IMAP/POP accounts via the Microsoft Cloud.
As of now, there is no way to disable this behaviour and as such if you do not wish to sync the data in this manner then you will have to:
- Continue using the older version of Outlook.
- Look for an alternative email client to work via IMAP/POP.
- Work via Webmail at https://app.titan.email.
1) When you open Outlook (or switch to the new version) you may see the following screen.
This process will fail as it is trying to use incorrect server details.
Click Continue and let it get to the next screen.
2) If this is a new email address setup. this is the next screen you should see.
[If this is not a new setup skip to item 4 below]
Enter your email address and click Advanced Setup.
3) Choose IMAP from the list shown.
4) For the following screen you need to enter the details as per below:
- Password: The password for the email account itself - not the Blacknight Control Panel admin login.
- Show More: Set to on
- Use Recommended Settings: This must be set to off.
-
IMAP
- IMAP Incoming server: imap0101.titan.email
- Port: 993
- Secure Connection Type: SSL/TLS
-
SMTP Configuration
- SMTP Username: This would be your email address.
- SMTP Password: The password for the email account itself.
- SMTP Outgoing Server: smtp0101.titan.email
- Port: 587
- Secure Connection Type: StartTLS
Note that if you had the email setup as POP - and not IMAP, the settings for POP are:
-
POP
- POP Incoming server: pop0101.titan.email
- Port: 995
- Secure Connection Type: SSL/TLS
Then when finished click Continue.
At this point, the app will continue setup and sync the account via the Microsoft Cloud.
It is then up to you to review the information provided on the following screens and choose options that suit you, when finished the email account will be setup.
