What are my FTP details?

This article applies to websites hosted on our newer https://cp.blacknighthosting.com platform.

Log in to the control panel for your plan:

How do I access the cPanel control panel?

Once in Plesk go to: Web Hosting Access > Change your FTP password here

For cPanel go to FTP Accounts

If you want to create a new FTP user instead you can do so through cp.blacknighthosting.com itself under:

Sevices > My Services > Click on your plan (not on the domain name itself) > FTP Access or FTP Accounts

Click Create Account to create a new FTP account

Leave the Directory field blank if you want the FTP user to have full access to the website in question. 

You can leave the Account Name as something like ftp_user, or fill in both boxes and set it to something like ftp_user@domain.com if you prefer (on cPanel it has to be ftp_user@domain.com)
