How to place an upgrade order for a VPS or VM plan:
This must be done when logged in to cp.blacknight.com
To do so, please follow the steps below once logged in:
1) Click on "Account"
2) Click "Subscriptions"
3) Click on the Cloud package in question.
4) Click on “Switch Plan”
5) Select the desired package.
6) Click on "Choose Service Plan"
7) Here you will have 2 options:
a) Select “From the Start Date of Current Subscription”, to maintain the current renewal date.
*You will only be charged for the difference.
b) Select” From the Start Date of Upgrade”, to extend the renewal to the full billing period.
*You will be charged the full amount, as the renewal date will be reset.
8) Select the preferred billing period
9) Click on "Select Period”
10)Click “Place order”
*Note: Please contact sales@blacknight.com once the order has been placed, as this will not provision automatically. Once we approved it the provisioning will take between 10-20 minutes to fully complete.
*Important: Due to the architecture of the SAN, it is not possible to downgrade a VM subscription yourself at a later stage. You will have to contact our Sales team if you wish to do so.
*Important: Upgrading the hosting does NOT automatically upgrade the resources on our VM plans.
