Outlook 2019 Access for BT Legacy accounts

Configuring Outlook

For Email's on BT Legacy accounts (iol.ie, esatclear.ie, iolfree.ie or oceanfree.net)

1) Open Outlook and go to File >> Add Account  and type in your email address.

Ensure 'Let me set up my account manually' is ticked (as per below)

2) Choose POP from the list shown:

3) Type in your password: the password you assigned to the email account when you went through the Blacknight signup process.

4) You will be presented with this screen, enter the information as per the image below:

• Incoming/Outgoing Server: webmail.email.hosting
• Incoming Port: 110
• Outgoing Port: 25 or 587
• Encryption Method: None

5) Click "Next". We recommend unchecking the box for "Outlook Mobile" and click OK
