Gmail Settings for BT Legacy accounts

This applies to emails hosted on BT Legacy accounts

1) Login to your Gmail Account 

2) Go to Settings, by clicking on the cog wheel (located top right of your account)

3) Click on 'Accounts and Import'

4) Click on 'Add a POP3 mail account you own'

(See Screenshot below)

5) Enter the email address of the account to get mail from.

(As per screenshot below)

6) Enter the following information : 

- Username: Full Email Address

- Password: the password you assigned to the email account when you went through the Blacknight signup process.

- POP Server: webmail.email.hosting

- Port: 995

- Tick the box for 'Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail.'

7)  Your emails will be downloaded and stored on your gmail account. If you wish to leave a copy/backup on our server tick the following option :

'Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server'

8) Click 'Add Account'

9) Enter the following information :

- SMTP Server: webmail.email.hosting

- Username: Full Email Address

- Password: the password you assigned to the email account when you went through the Blacknight signup process.

- Secured connection using TLS (recommended)

10) Click 'Add Account'

(See Screenshot below)

Your account should now be setup to use on Gmail.

Webmail can be accessed via https://webmail.email.hosting/
