Office 365: Changing Or Resetting User Passwords

This article relates to resetting the password for Office 365 users.

Most of these actions require access to the the Blacknight Control Panel - as such you may require the Blacknight Account Administrator to carry this out for you.

You can however attempt to reset your password via the following means, where you do not have contact with the admin at this time:

• Navigate to http://portal.office.com.
• Click "Can’t access your account?".
• Follow the steps provided.

Changing/Resetting The Password via the 365 Admin Panel

If you are the admin of the Office 365 system you can change the password for users via the Microsoft portal - see the following article in relation to this:

If you wish to reset the password for the Office 365 admin login, you can email us at  help@blacknight.com - from your Blacknight account's admin email address

Changing The Password via the 365 User Panel

If you are currently able to login to your Office 365 account and simply wish to change your password, you can do so via the same login as per the following:

If you don't know the current password you need to log in as the Office admin user as per the above.
