This article relates to resetting the password for Office 365 users.
Most of these actions require access to the the Blacknight Control Panel - as such you may require the Blacknight Account Administrator to carry this out for you.
You can however attempt to reset your password via the following means, where you do not have contact with the admin at this time:
- Navigate to http://portal.office.com.
- Click "Can’t access your account?".
- Follow the steps provided.
Changing/Resetting The Password - Via The Blacknight Control Panel
To change the password on an Microsoft Office 365 user, you would need to go to the following in your Blacknight Control Panel (http://cp.blacknight.com).
Click on the Users tab and then click on the email addresses Display Name.
... then click on Change Password
Enter the new password here.
Changing/Resetting The Password - Via The Office 365 Admin Panel
In addition to this, if you are the admin of the Office 365 system - and have access to the management panel for this, you can change the password for users via that panel also - see the following article in relation to this:
If you wish to reset the password for the Office 365 admin login, you would need to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org - from your Blacknight account's admin email address, requesting this.
