Setting Up Your Email Account As An IMAP / POP Account
Where possible, you should setup your email account as a full-featured client account i.e. using the native connectivity of an Exchange account - as above: Setting Up Your Email Account As An Exchange Account.
If however you cannot use native Exchange connectivity, it would be suggested that you use IMAP connectivity instead of POP connectivity,
The settings you require when setting up your email account, as an IMAP/POP account, can be found via your Outlook Web App i.e. webmail, as per the following article:
